At one point, he called my name. I turned and looked and there he was grinding, on the dance floor, with the then female president of ISTE, who up to that point was pretty stiff and formal on the dance floor. Who else would have the audacity to do such a thing, but Chris? And the sly look on his face that many of us have seen... And the for the first time that night, the president of ISTE let loose and looked to be having a great time.
Rest in sweet peace, Chris. You leave the world a better place having had you in it.
]]>I also remember hanging on the roof of my mom’s house at night talking and watching a few fights/shoot outs in the corner, Chris wanted to run the first time and my brother Melvin stopped him and said, "Don't move, once they are done they will move on" You should’ve seen his face! Eddie was just cool about the whole situation because he knew that if you don't bother them, they will not bother you. Lol
Wow, the numerous parties Chris, Eddie, Melvin, Nicky, Judy and I went together along with other Dance Party USA regulars! The many performances, interviews, appearances, etc. And just hanging together, making up routines, joking around and being ourselves.
Let's not talk about the disagreements that always ended up on a funny note! Chris liked to debate and get under his brother's skin and then he would hide. It was funny because no matter what, Eddie had his back and dealt with it. I never told Eddie but most Chris use to tell me, "WATCH ME GET ON EDDIE'S NERVE!" Sorry Eddie, but I had to keep my word and just sit back and enjoy the show.
The Tully’s (Chris and Eddie’s family) the DeSalis’ (Nicky "little Spicy" and Judy’s family) and mines used to vacation together at the Poconos, and Florida. One time at Pleasure Island in Florida, we almost got kicked out because we were out-dancing the dancers at the clubs so we decided that since we were not allowed to dance in the clubs, we were going to take it to the streets and show Pleasure Island who the real dancers were, lol.
So many more fond memories that will never be forgotten. I am so pleased and honored to have known Chris and have him part of my life.
Rest in Peace Little Bro and save me a spot on Heaven's Line dance!
